Hi everyone! I am slightly behind on posting my around town pictures. Ive been waiting for blue skies and they have been rare. I took a walk around downtown Meriden a couple days ago and took some pictures that I have wanted to take for years. Although I wish desperately that the city would clean up downtown, I was able to take some interesting photographs. I am really enjoying toying around with Picasa, but even more I am loving how at peace I feel when walking around snapping pictures. I see things so differently with a camera in my hand. ReplyDeleteYes, the second is wonderful... and the third... nice light. What weakens the first is the bright wall in the foreground, lower right of pic.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second and third shots. The shadow of the tree and the rose colored wall are different. I like the way the sun is shining through the pillars and casting shadows.
