Lighting & Shadows

This was an interesting assignment, of course the day I chose to do this assignment was very cloudy but it provided some great lighting effects. The way the sunlight came through the clouds with the shadowed steeple proved to be a neat back drop. The second photo was the sun peeking through the clouds, reflecting in the water taken looking straight down from a foot bridge in downtown Milford. The greenish looking stuff is the shadows from the bridge and the hanging potted plants aroung the foot bridge. If you look closely at the lower left you can see my shoes.

These are the same flowers that I previously took pictures off. I took new pictures today with no flash.

Hi class,
I was sent these photos of the inside of waves by a friend after reading a memoir on surfing called "Crazy for the Storm". After viewing them, I thought I'd share the awesome shots with you all. They are just beautiful.
Have fun!

Light and shodow...

I have to admit that I struggled with this one. For some reason I just wasn't coming up with anything inspiring (I'll keep working at it and continue to post). Here are a couple of shots - the only two that I thought were worthy of posting - and I'm not even ultimately thrilled with these two! I did like the flat look of the clouds reflected in the glass, though.

The Macro Project

On the first two photos I was able to zoom in a little more than 1/2 before it began to get blurry. On the last photo I used my EPSON scanner and used the tips Professor Jerry suggested and this is the result. For the resolution I kept it on
72.

Shadows & Light

I decided to walk around downtown Hartford and take pictures of shadows. My favorite picture is of the railing.

flowers

I happen to love flowers. They were placed on the table to brighten up the room. They bring life to my day!

Building Reflections

I took this picture when the sun was setting, I like the way the building was casting a reflections of the glass.

True reflection of Black and White

I decided to take this picture in black and white to show the natural reflection of the trees in the water.

The pillars of shadows

This is one of my favorite photos with the reflection of the sun bouncing of the pillars.
